Services offered

Section Envy specialises in providing comprehensive lawn care and section maintenance services, tailored to meet the specific needs of our customers. Our offerings include regular lawn mowing, edging, trimming, rubbish removal, water blasting and more, to maintain a neat and healthy section appearance.

Our team is dedicated to delivering quality service that enhances the aesthetics and functionality of your outdoor space.

We also offer consultation and personalised service plans to address unique lawn and section care requirements. Our goal is to ensure customer satisfaction by delivering professional, reliable, and efficient services that exceed expectations.

Property access

The customer agrees to ensure that the designated lawn area is accessible and free from obstructions, including but not limited to toys, garden furniture, tools, pet waste, or any other items that may hinder the lawn care service on the scheduled date and time.

If access is restricted due to locked gates, pets, or obstacles, the customer must inform the Section Envy at least 24 hours in advance to make necessary arrangements. Failure to do so may result in a $15 re-visit fee.

Section Envy shall not be held responsible for incomplete service due to lack of access unless notified within the stipulated time frame.

Quotes, acceptance and price variation

Prior to service, Section Envy will provide the customer with a detailed quote outlining the scope of work, service charges, and any additional fees (if applicable).

Upon acceptance of the provided quote, the customer acknowledges and agrees to abide by the terms and conditions outlined by Section Envy for the provision of services.

The quoted price serves as an estimate based on the initial assessment of the required services. However, the final price may vary depending on factors such as lawn condition, size, or unforeseen circumstances discovered during service.

It's important to note that certain costs, such as dump fees or unforeseen material expenses, may be beyond the Section Envy’s control and could affect the final pricing. Any significant price adjustments will be communicated and agreed upon with the customer before proceeding with additional services.

All quotes include GST and are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue. Any changes in service requirements may necessitate a revised quote.

Payment terms, deposits and invoicing

Payment for Section Envy services are  due within 7 days upon completion of the work, unless prior arrangements for invoicing or other payment methods have been agreed upon.

For invoices totalling over $1,000, a deposit may be required before commencement of the scheduled services. The deposit amount and terms will be communicated and agreed upon between Section Envy and the customer in advance.

Invoices will be issued electronically via email by default. In cases where physical mail is preferred or required, arrangements can be made upon request. The issued invoice will outline the services provided, costs, and payment details for the customer's reference.

Accepted payment methods include cash or online payments via direct credit.  

In the event of late payment, a late fee of 5% may be charged after 21 days from the service date. We reserve the right to cease services if payment falls into arrears.

Debt collection

In the event of non-payment or outstanding balances beyond the stipulated payment period, Section Envy reserves the right to pursue appropriate measures for debt collection. This may include engaging third-party collection agencies or taking legal action as permitted by law.

Any costs incurred during the debt collection process, including but not limited to collection fees or legal expenses, shall be the responsibility of the customer.

Section Envy will make reasonable attempts to notify the customer regarding outstanding payments before initiating debt collection procedures.

Termination, changes and cancellation of services

Customers may terminate services by providing written notice, including the desired termination date, with at least 7 days' advance notice to facilitate proper scheduling adjustments.

Upon termination, any outstanding payments for services rendered up to the termination date will be due and payable as per the agreed-upon terms.

Section Envy will complete any scheduled services up to the termination date unless otherwise requested by the customer. Any prepaid services beyond the termination date will be refunded accordingly.

The customer can reschedule or cancel appointments by providing at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the due amount.

Section Envy reserves the right to reschedule services due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. We will make every effort to notify the customer in advance and arrange an alternate service date.

We understand that circumstances may necessitate changes to scheduled appointments. To cancel or reschedule a service, the customer must provide at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the due amount.

Communication and feedback

Section Envy will primarily communicate service-related information via email, phone, and/or text message and the customer agrees to provide accurate contact details.

Customers are encouraged to provide feedback, comments, or concerns regarding the service experience. We value constructive feedback to continually improve our services for customer satisfaction.

Liability limitation, insurance and damage to property

Section Envy maintains both public and statutory liability insurance coverage to protect against unforeseen circumstances and liabilities arising during the provision of our services. This insurance extends to cover damages resulting from our operations, up to the limits specified in the policy.

Section Envy will exercise reasonable care to avoid damage to the customer's property during service. In the rare event of damage caused by our services, the customer must notify Section Envy within 48 hours of service completion. We will assess the damage and take appropriate measures for repair or reimbursement, as deemed necessary and agreed upon.

Privacy policy

Information Collection: Section Envy collects personal information from customers solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services. This may include but is not limited to names, contact information, and service-related details. Collection is done in a lawful and fair manner, with consent obtained where required.

Usage and Retention: Personal information is used only for the purposes for which it was collected, ensuring it is relevant and not kept longer than necessary. Information may be retained for a reasonable period, as required by law or for business operational needs.

Security Measures: We implement reasonable security measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes secure storage, encryption where applicable, and access controls.

Disclosure and Sharing: Personal information is not shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties unless necessary for providing services, with consent, or as required by law. Any third parties receiving information are also bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations.

Access and Correction: Customers have the right to access and request correction of their personal information held by Section Envy. Requests for access or updates to information should be made in writing.

Compliance with Privacy Act: Our practices adhere to the principles outlined in New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020, ensuring transparency, fairness, and respect for individual privacy rights.
